Past
Officer and Directors Association (POADA): Any
person who has served as an officer or director and left the board
in good standing, and all Open Chairman and Los Angeles Watts Summer
Games Chairmen.

Committee
of Ten: Commission: The Committee of Ten is a standing
committee commissioned by the Board of Directors to oversee the
membership and activities of the Past Officers and Directors Association
and advises the Board on all matters relating to their area.

Composition: The
Board, each year, may appoint one new individual from newly retiring
Board Members, Open Chairman, LAWSG Chairman for membership on the
C-10. Selection of a new member is made by the C-10 in August and
is voted on by the Board of Directors in September. If a vacancy
arises within a year it will be up to the C-10 to determine if a
replacement is required and to present a candidate to the Board of
Directors. The Chair of the C-10 will be the C-10 Member in their
10th year (i.e. the last year of their 10-year term). In addition,
the Chair should also be appointed by the LAJCC Chairman of the Board
and/or ratified by the LAJCC Board. The immediate past chairman of
the C-10 remains for one additional year as an “ex-officio” member
in order to provide continuity for the incoming chair.

Terms: Individuals
have a 10 year term.

Meetings: The
C-10 meets as needed throughout the year to plan events, get updates
on members, and discuss other POADA activities.

Board liaison will be appointed to this committee by the Chairman
