Ready
to Learn is a monthly reading program designed to help children develop a love of reading while helping with reading skills. Giving this extra attention beyond the classroom enhances what the children learn Monday-Friday.
Located at Sunrise Elementary School in Boyle Heights, LAJCC members read to and listen to first graders then help them do an art project related to their reading.
