Gina Airey, MBA , Strategic Planner and Leadership Consultant, Gina Airey Consulting, Inc., will present a class on Strategic Planning on October 26th to Class 45. For more information, please see Gina Airey’s bio below.

With over twenty years as an internal and external consultant, and almost a decade with her own firm, Gina Airey, MBA, leads the firm as a strategic planner and leadership consultant.

Her approach to consulting is influenced by years of supporting leaders as they navigated periods of growth. Her deep experience includes Accenture/Andersen Consulting’s Organization and Human Performance Practice, a group that brought “change management” to the global consulting marketplace during her six year tenure. While there, she excelled as a manager and successfully served clients – ranging from Fortune 50 to Silicon Valley dotcom start-up.

At Accenture she expanded her understanding of the interplay of strategy, people, process and technology. And she discovered her passion for facilitation and its power to catalyze change.

Gina refined her skills in strategic planning and competitive market assessment as Vice President of Consulting with McMorrowSavarese, which serves managing partners of the AmLaw 100 (the legal industry’s revenue ranking). She developed new consulting services, advised law firm leadership on their growth strategies and co-wrote articles about the complexities of leading change in law firms.

Gina’s commitment to working with visionary leaders across sectors, industries and disciplines is rooted in her education in liberal arts, public affairs and strategic management. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Occidental College where she received her A.B. with departmental honors in psychology and membership in the Phi Beta Kappa society.

She was chosen among national candidates to participate in “Princeton’s Review’s” top public affairs graduate-level training, a year-long public affairs fellowship with Coro Southern California. She also holds an MBA with a concentration in strategic management from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. Upon graduation, the faculty honored her as Outstanding MBA Student of the Year, an award presented to her by Druckerhimself, the “Father of Management”.
Gina Airey Consulting, Inc.

Our clients are leaders that span sectors and work creatively across sectors. Our vision is that visionary leaders’ aspirations are actualized for a better world.

Leaders come to us from a position of strength with a desire to grow – to grow in scale, impact, sustainability or all three. Transforming something from strong to superb is thrilling because we know the difference it makes for consumers and constituents, stakeholders and shareholders.

As facilitative consultants we view all of our projects as experiential leadership development. We have three categories of services: Planning (Visioning, Strategic Planning and Implementation Planning); Leading (Leadership Team Facilitation, Executive Coaching and Organizational Development); and Learning (Leadership Development Institute, Speaking and Training).

We describe our overall approach as facilitative consulting. While we are partners in answering our clients’ compelling strategic questions, we know that, ultimately, sustainable solutions must be owned within organizations and implemented by inspired internal champions. That is why the mission of Gina Airey Consulting is to develop leaders for strategic impact. That translates into more competent leaders, more intentional leadership teams, more effective organizations and more mission-focused results.

One exemplary client that demonstrates how we serve clients over time for profound results is the City and community of Riverside, CA. We have facilitated: the development of a long-term strategic vision called “Seizing Our Destiny – The Agenda for Riverside’s Innovative Future” (seizingourdestiny.com); the first two years of implementation through a public-private partnership; the development of a “collective impact” effort to mobilize community leaders toward their aspirations for quality of life.
